On November 23rd AICRUMIT received the “Outstanding Procurement in ICT” award at the Procura+ Awards, thanks to the collaboration with the Murcia Health Service, within the framework of the European project InDemand, to improve communication between doctors and epilepsy patients, reaching a 50% increase in patient satisfaction and an improvement in their quality of life.
These awards are given by Procura+ Network and reward public projects that provide sustainable, circular and innovative services. The aim of these projects is to significantly improve public goods, services, processes and infrastructure and to give visibility to the most dynamic, innovative and forward-looking proposals.
During the awards ceremony, Erika Bozzay, member of the jury, remarked that one of the reasons why the jury considered the project so attractive is because it generates an ethical and accessible communication channel for patients with epilepsy, improving their satisfaction and quality of life. Also important was the co-creation process, with a broad and deep evaluation proving that the user and the market can work together in this rapidly evolving field.
Finally he added that the jury found particularly valuable the high potential for replicability, both at national and European level.
From AICRUMIT we thank the Murcia Health Service and the Proyects and Innovation Department for the trust placed in us to participate in this project.
