ITEA, the Eureka R&D&I cluster dedicated to software innovation, has published an article on its website entitled “End-User Happiness: A Channel of Communication to Strengthen the Bond Between Patients and Doctors”, in which it highlights CareMe as one of the key solutions within the European SYMPHONY project.

CareMe is a telemedicine platform that facilitates smoother and more direct communication between patients and healthcare professionals. Through a secure digital environment, it provides access to appointments, clinical results, medication plans and personalised recommendations, fostering trust and continuity of care.

The article highlights how CareMe addresses current challenges in the healthcare system, such as long waiting times, a lack of follow-up and the need for remote care, which has been accentuated during the pandemic. The solution integrates wearable devices and external medical systems, facilitating real-time monitoring and the early detection of incidents, thereby improving medical decision-making and patients’ quality of life.

As part of the SYMPHONY project, CareMe connects with other tools developed by European partners such as SOPHEON, INNOVA and Intellecsia, creating a safer, more accessible and interoperable digital health ecosystem.
