Yesterday, February 26th, we held the awards ceremony for AICRUM Got Talent, an internal competition we launched to foster creativity, idea sharing, and team building within the company.
A few weeks ago, we organized a session where each person — individually or in teams — presented projects based on their own ideas. The goal was to give these ideas a concrete shape, establish the technical foundations for possible future development, and present them before our internal jury.
As a technology company with expertise in areas such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and telemedicine, each team presented projects using technologies aligned with their area of knowledge. In total, eight projects were submitted across various fields — from telemedicine to fashion.
After the presentation of all documents and proposals, we moved on to the evaluation phase. The aspects considered included:
-
The real-world problem being solved
-
The identified market opportunity
-
The coherence with the company’s activities and capabilities
Finally, we conducted an internal voting process, which selected the winning team formed by MariCarmen and Maribel, with their project MandarinMe, a management software designed for nutritionists.
The AICRUM Got Talent prize consists of two parts: a gift card for Amazon, and the opportunity to develop the winning project within the company.
It was an inspiring and enriching day, where we got to know each other better, discover everyone’s interests and skills, and lay the groundwork for potential new developments at AICRUMIT.
